German rex (Cat)

German rex (Cat) is a medium sized cat, muscular and athletic without looking plump; legs also muscular and of medium length, paws oval.

Body: Medium sized cat, muscular and athletic without looking plump; legs also muscular and of medium length, paws oval. Tail medium in length, slightly rounded tip. Head: Medium sized head with rounded contours; profile curved ; strong chin; well developed cheeks. Ears: Medium sized and placed rather wide apart, wide at base, slightly rounded tips. Eyes: Rounded, medium sized and well opened, set wide apart; eye colour to be uniform and harmonizing with coat colour. Coat: Completely free of guard hairs, therefore velvety soft and supple texture, short and wavy coat; whiskers and eyebrows crinkled. Colour Varieties: Chocolate and cinnamon and the according diluted colours (lilac and fawn) are not accepted in any pattern combinations (bi-colour, tri-colour, tabby).
